ZomBcall unveils the “ZomBcall zombie sound vocalizer” device designed to allow users to create zombie sounds similar to those used in movies and TV shows such as “The Walking Dead”. The “zombie vocalizer zombie sound device” is the brainchild of James Villepigue and Christopher Oliver, serial entrepreneurs and avid zombie enthusiasts.
“With the massive popularity of zombie apocalypse based TV shows and movies like A&E’s The walking Dead, World War Z, Zombieland, Day of the Dead, 28 Days Later, Shaun of the Dead, Return of the Living Dead, Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Warm Bodies and more it is no surprise that many zombie enthusiasts find themselves considering preparations for a potential zombie apocalypse. At ZomBcall we understand this and want to help. The ZomBcall zombie sound vocalizer enables the user to make zombie sounds. Theoretically these sounds could lure zombies in to traps or entice them into specific areas if indeed someday zombies were to actually exist. ZomBcall is all about being prepared, because if you are not prepared, you’re not gonna make it!”, says Christopher Oliver, co-creator of the ZomBcall zombie sounds vocalizer device.
Villepigue and Oliver have hinted that they intend to launch a massive “zombie apocalypse” style marketing drive to raise awareness of their soon-to-be launched Kickstarter crowd funding initiative. While a specific launch date for the ZomBcall zombie sound device Kickstarter promotion was not disclosed Villepigue and Oliver hinted that it was imminent.
“We only as that everyone remain calm. We understand that many people believe a zombie apocalypse could break out any day now, but it is important that everyone remain calm. ZomBcall will be available soon and we look forward to your support in our ZomBcall zombie sound device Kickstarter campaign,” says James Villepigue, co-inventor of the ZomBcall device.

Music Maker Makes a Comeback with a Retro Look and a Modern Delivery – The 3D Printed MakerBot Mixtape
This is so old school, it is totally cool. Back by popular demand, the MakerBot® Mixtape is making a resurgence. This 3D printed version of the iconic DIY music mixtape is now available at the MakerBot Retail Stores in New York, Boston and Greenwich, Connecticut.
MakerBot, a global leader in desktop 3D printing, is known for bringing the future to the present with its MakerBot Replicator® Desktop 3D Printers. But one item that combines today’s 3D printing technology with the allure of something totally retro is the MakerBot Mixtape. The MakerBot Mixtape was one of the first items MakerBot recreated through 3D printing. Originally sold online, the MakerBot Mixtape was so popular, it sold out every time it was made available. Now, MakerBot is gearing up for this blast from the past by 3D printing a variety of color combinations to appeal to music lovers of all kinds, from rock ‘n’ rollers to those with a more classical leaning.
The redesigned MakerBot Mixtape is an all-new 3D printed cassette tape with an MP3 player embedded inside. With an improved user interface, the MakerBot Mixtape offers drag and drop files just like a USB drive. It has 4GB of storage and holds favorite tunes and playlists and will even store 3D printing STL files so you have access to your favorite 3D prints right from your pocket.
“Everyone goes wild for the MakerBot Mixtape,” noted Bre Pettis, CEO of MakerBot. “It’s retro, it’s cool, it’s colorful, and it’s musical. All of that, plus the fact that it’s 3D printed, make it, in my eyes, one of the most unusual and talked about items we sell. We are happy to bring the MakerBot Mixtape back and offer it exclusively in our MakerBot Retail Stores for our customers.”
The MakerBot Mixtape is available only at the MakerBot Retail Stores in New York, Boston and Greenwich, Connecticut. It sells for $40 and comes in a variety of color combinations. For more information on MakerBot Stores or the MakerBot Mixtape, visit makerbot.com/retail-store.
Mr. Snuffleupagus is First Sesame Street Character to be 3D Printed
MakerBot® is excited to announce Sesame Street as its first global licensed brand and will bring 3D printable Sesame Street licensed content to the MakerBot Digital Store and to MakerBot Retail Stores. Starting today, Mr. Snuffleupagus becomes the first Sesame Street character to be available for download and 3D printing at makerbot.com/digitalstore. Additional characters will follow in the coming months and Sesame Street 3D printed models are expected to be available soon for purchase in MakerBot Retail Stores.
Mr. Snuffleupagus, or Snuffy as he is fondly called, will make his first 3D printed appearance at the Bay Area Maker Faire in San Mateo, Calif., May 17 and 18, at the MakerBot booth. Event attendees are encouraged to be on the lookout for the 3D printed Snuffy figurines hidden throughout the event center. Each scavenger who finds a Snuffy figurine is eligible to bring the 3D printed Snuffleupagus to the MakerBot booth and take a #SnuffySelfie photo in front of the eight-foot tall, 3D printed replica of Sesame Street’s iconic lamp and sign post. Contestants who post their photos to Twitter or Instagram with the tag #SnuffySelfie will be entered to win a MakerBot Replicator® 2 Desktop 3D Printer, $100 worth of MakerBot Digital Store content, three spools of MakerBot PLA Filament and select Sesame Street merchandise.
“We are really proud to launch our first branded and licensed 3D printed products for the MakerBot Digital Store and MakerBot Retail Stores with Sesame Street,” noted Bre Pettis, CEO of MakerBot. “Sesame Street has always been near and dear to my heart. I used to work for Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, and I grew up watching Sesame Street. Having the ability to 3D print a beloved character – or soon, an entire set of cherished characters — will be really fun and educational. 3D printing is like having an engineering education in a box, but with Sesame Street, it has a playful and familiar twist.”
The Sesame Street characters on the MakerBot Digital Store, beginning with Snuffy, will be available at makerbot.com/digitalstore and will start at $1.29 for individual models.

The Elio is a personal use car. It is perfect for long commutes to work and quick trips up and down the coast with a loved one.
